The Devil Wears Prada – A Foodie Interview

When I started out this food blog, my vision was clear:  To marry food, beer, and heavy metal.  One day my husband and I were throwing out possible names, and I blurted out “The Devil Wears Parsley.”  For those not familiar, The Devil Wears Prada is not only a blockbuster movie based on a novel of the same name, but also the name of a popular Christian metal band. We thought it was clever, so the name just stuck!

Imagine my surprise when I got the opportunity to interview this renowned metal band! While Mike Hranica is more passionate about food, Jeremy DePoyster also chimes in on Thanksgiving plans! Scroll down to the interview after all the sweet tour bus pics!

I don’t want to give too much away, but it was really fun to talk to metal people about food! I loved hearing Mike’s philosophies on food, his strengths in the kitchen, favorite veggies, and overall habits. It’s fun to find out what makes people tick! I know there are other metal foodies out there, so if you want to contribute or support in any way to my heavy metal foodie cause, I’m so down!

    It was so awesome to hear your interview. Its odd to hear your voice again after so many years in such a venue… but I loved the interview. Always read the blog… but I will leave the cooking to you. I am not a good cook at all. Cookies.. I can manage. That’s where it stops.
