I’m finally getting on that video train, guys!! I’m so excited about it too.
It’s pepper season where I am, and that means an abundance of peppers! An abundance of any one produce item generally means great prices too. Roasted peppers that are jarred can often be pretty expensive. When you roast your own, not only can you save money, but you know yours are super fresh!
You just need a couple tools:
- tongs
- A bowl
- Some plastic wrap
(gotta love the industrial sized version!)
- ..and a grill
or similar fire source like your stove top or broiler
Red peppers are my absolute favorite. They contain a TON of Vitamin C, and have a perfect sweetness that I love. When you roast them, in addition to the sweetness, you get this awesome roasted flavor too. Gotta love that flame! So, without further ado…. Here’s my very first video with yours truly!
So, now that you know how to roast your own peppers, here are a few recipes to send you off to flavor-town!
Muhammara Dip
Wicked Avocado Toast with Roasted Red Peppers and Over Easy Egg
Kicked up Tabbouleh with Isralei Couscous
Greek Wraps with Beer Marinated Chicken
Seductive Italian Salad
I hope you enjoyed this video, darling!! If there are any other how-to type of subjects that you’d like me to cover, let me know in the comments or shoot me an email via the contact form! Thanks for watching, guys!!

Great job on the video! Thanks for the suggestion to let the pepper rest for 10 minutes. I can’t wait to roast up some peppers. I *LOVE* red peppers.
