Danzig “Mostly Un-Cut”

It would be a travesty to withold Glenn Danzig’s complete replies to topics like The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, Disco and much more! That is why you get Glenn Danzig mostly UN-CUT in this two-part interview on The Devil Wears Parsley.

I’ve sat down and talked one on one with a few Rock GIANTS before, and at times I was pretty nervous, but once I get going it usually becomes second nature(it’s my job, I better get over it!). Danzig is an entirely different beast! I think we’ve all seen Glenn destroy a reporter from time to time, and in the back of my mind I was concerned it may happen to me. I knew that this interview’s livelihood rested on preparation and my knowledge of Glenn’s music.

Backstage chow room: Door swings open, Big guy walks in, ‘tude in his eyes, scowling lips and hasn’t shaved in a month, he quietly commands the room. The happy place in my mind that i was just in, erupted into PANIC! The next sound I heard was thick, rich leather. Enter Glenn Danzig. Iconic leather Jacket, aviator shades as dark as her black wings, and a presence that sucked the oxygen out of that room. I am so f*#k3d but at the same time extremely ready for this.

I present to you the “Mostly UN-CUT” interview with Glenn Danzig, live at Club Nokia at LA Live in Los Angeles, June 26, 2010.
